Fallen tree causes two-hour jam in Bangsar


KUALA LUMPUR: A fallen tree caused some two hours of traffic congestion in Bangsar Saturday.
Jalan Maarof heading towards Damansara was cut off by the tree which fell at about 3pm.
On the opposite side of the road, only one lane was opened to traffic heading to Kuala Lumpur and Mid Valley Megamall.
City Hall officials cleared the tree at about 4.30pm and traffic was back to normal.
They said the tree fell due to the loose ground after several days of rain.
